Children experience BuitenLand in their own unique way. The freedom they often don't have at home is a given here. Sometimes a mud puddle is the highlight of the day, or maybe it's the enormous soap bubbles dancing through the playground? A stray toddler is lovingly brought back. Together, we form a village around our youngest visitors, so they can be themselves to their heart's content.
When the playground becomes too small and the mud puddles no longer provide enough entertainment, it is time for teenagers to enjoy this place in a different way. A place where first holiday romances blossom and where staying up late is the norm (and finally allowed for once). A place where you can dance on the terrace, hang out in the lounge area and secretly go skinny dipping in the lake. Here, young people are simply part of the wonderful whole.
On the tennis court, players sometimes dance around like confused mosquitoes, hitting the ball as if they were trying to chase away a fly. Experienced or not, everyone is welcome.

Sand between your toes, in your clothes and in your hair: on the new beach volleyball court, you'll feel like you're at the beach. Everyone is welcome to join in for a fun game of volleyball on this court.
Next to the terrace is the playground, where teenagers hang out in the nets and children slide endlessly. Parents can hang out at the bar for a while to recover from the night. Running barefoot among the bushes, it's easy to make friends.
Theatre stimulates and inspires, and that certainly applies to the younger members of the family. Each season, we put together an extensive theatre programme, part of which is specially designed for the youngsters among us. Theatre performances, interactive circus acts, dance performances, puppet shows and music; bring the whole family and enjoy lots of creativity and fun.

We have a whole range of activities ready for all young creative minds. Baking something yourself over a fire just tastes so much better. Sandwiches, marshmallows, (vegetarian) sausages. Come and join us, there's always room.
Stroll through the woods in search of the flag in a game of live Stratego. Run and chase the fugitive during our own camping-style hunting season. Or gather around the fire for a game of Werewolves. The campsite is the ideal place to play and act, romp, run and explore.
We don't like to brag about it, but secretly it's quite luxurious that you can choose between a swimming pool and a lake here. At the pool, the little ones can enjoy themselves in the paddling pool while the older kids can swim laps – or just splash and jump around, of course. And all this while you can finish reading your novel in the shade.
If you prefer a dip in natural water, then hop on over to the Zandpol. Here you can build sandcastles and swim laps, sunbathe and go boating. This natural pool is a wonderful spot for everyone.
We regularly set the table for all future star chefs, where you can top and bake your own pizza. Budding pastry chefs can knead and decorate their own biscuits under the guidance of our seasoned kitchen princes and princesses.
