On Saturdays and Sundays, Buitenland hosts a lively market. Find a second-hand outfit that will make your friends jealous, discover handmade gems, or sample something delicious from the neighbourhood. Stroll around and be prepared for an unexpected find!
Buitenland is all about having fun together, a little competition, and above all, a lot of fun. During our theme weekends, everything revolves around games, atmosphere, and being together.
We play Petanque in true French style, organize a fanatical but cheerful tennis tournament, and put our brains to work in the Rummikub tournament. There is laughter, encouragement, cheering, and sometimes a little bit of cheating, with flair of course.
Between rounds, you can enjoy good company, delicious food, and a relaxed, international atmosphere. Join in, cheer on the players, or just come and soak up the atmosphere. Our themed weekends are the perfect mix of relaxation, games, and a little bit of madness.
DJs spin groovy tunes on the terrace where you can dance with your feet in the sand and the sun on your face. A silent disco with lights in your ears so no one can hear you. Or late at night in a warm nest indoors, whipping up each other's heat.
At BuitenLand, we love to dance to let go and feel that everything is alive.
Every Saturday, a great band, singer-songwriter or other musician takes to our stage. With great dedication, new talent is scouted in the dark corners of old festivals. But established names can also take to the BuitenLand stage, always with their own music and in ever-changing genres.
During open jam sessions, our guests with musical talent are also given the opportunity to showcase their musical skills. Every Thursday during the summer holidays and often on Fridays in the spring and autumn, a delightful mix of musical creativity takes place on the terrace. For many regular visitors, this is their favourite evening.
Show yourself, live it up and shape your own theatrical experiment. That's how BuitenLand becomes one big stage during Pride. Whether you want to perform, experiment or just enjoy the show. Anything goes, nothing is mandatory. Here we celebrate creativity, freedom and daring to be yourself.
Language takes centre stage at Buitenland. Come and listen, share or surprise other campers with your own performance. Anything goes: poetry, rap, monologue or anything in between. Spoken word at Buitenland is raw, honest and full of love for the moment.

At Buitenland, we don't take life too seriously. That's why there's always a healthy dose of silliness on the programme. Expect unexpected competitions, cheerful chaos and, above all, lots of fun.
Test your knowledge at the pub quiz or sing along during music bingo. Get moving with Buitenland in Beweging, dance around a chair during the classic musical chairs, or be surprised by a real Braktiviteit on Sunday.

Every year in September, we celebrate our anniversary at Buitenland and go all out. The entire grounds are buzzing with activities, music, food, and surprises. From live music and workshops to spontaneous performances and creative acts, there is something for everyone.
