From BuitenLand, you can step straight into the vast Drenthe countryside. Wander through forests and peat bogs, splash through puddles barefoot, or follow one of the beautiful walking routes. Children even have the option of taking a pony with them!

Want to relax in the vast nature of Drenthe? From BuitenLand, you can walk straight into the Dalerveen peat bog. A lovely forest with beautiful ferns under the trees. Feel free to stray from the paths or stomp through the puddles with your bare feet.

For a longer walk (8-10 km), there is a connection via the Noorderbos to Dalerveen. There you can enjoy an ice cream at Cafe Boerhoorn.

Or you can do a 5 km loop via the cycle path through the meadows, which ends at the lock on the Stieltjes Canal.

Tip: for children who don't want to walk that far, hire a pony to take with you at Manege Kuipers!
