Woody

Meet Woody: our charming wooden cottage with a spacious veranda, built from all kinds of reclaimed wood. From the bedroom door and bathroom cabinet to the hundreds of Canadian red cedar beams used to finish the entire cottage. We recently expanded Woody with a living room with an extra high, sloping roof and lots of windows, as well as an additional double bedroom. This makes it a comfortable, spacious and attractive holiday home for up to 6 people.

Plenty of space for the children

Woody has two bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: made-up double bed, adjacent to the small bathroom

Bedroom 2: two single beds next to the living room, which can be pushed together to form a double bed

The living room has French doors leading to the veranda. In the loft of the cottage, there are two chill-out/sleeping areas, for which extra bed linen can be booked. You make up these beds yourself and tidy them away again yourself. Please note: the stairs leading up to them are steep and the space is low, so the loft is less suitable for young children.

Enjoying the outdoors

On the veranda, there is a picnic table that you can place wherever you want. There are hammocks that you can attach between the trees and a wooden seating area with lounge cushions, complete with a wood-burning stove. For extra atmosphere, there is a fire pit made by our neighbour Christiaan, composed of bicycle and moped sprockets forged together.

Cold nights?

There is a wood-burning stove inside, making Woody a wonderful place to stay in any season. Wood is not included, but you can buy bags of wood at reception or bring your own. There is also an electric heater for extra convenience.

Bags of wood for a campfire are available for purchase at reception, but you are also welcome to bring your own wood.
